Two things decide your tier, and both have to be true: how often you come in, and what you've spent, across the last 90 days.

A visit is a day you bought a drink — two drinks on the same day is one visit. Because the window rolls, your tier follows your recent habit: it can move down as well as up.
The first 200 people to join become Founding Members, permanently. It closes when the spots are gone and does not reopen.
About the free drink: buy two drinks and the cheaper one is free, once a calendar month. It's yours to spend when you want it — it's never used automatically, so a quick tea won't burn it. It doesn't stack up: one a month, and a month you don't use it simply passes. This one starts a few weeks after we open rather than on day one, and then runs a full twelve months from the day it starts.
